Host, Tariq El-Amin is joined in studio by Dr. Timothy Grose, an assistant Professor of China Studies from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana to discuss the Uyghur (pronounced We-gor) Muslims of China, an ethnic minority of Turkic descent who have been forcibly detained–in what amounts to internment camps designed to strip them of their Muslim identity. China refers to these facilities as Muslim Reeducation camps. Some estimates place the number of Uyghur in these camps at over a million.
